Get ready to read your way to the midway! 🎡📚

The Appalachian Fair’s Read to Ride Program encourages young readers to build a love for books while earning exciting rewards during our 100th Anniversary Fair!

Eligible students can read books, complete a simple form, and receive FREE ride coupons to use during fair week!

👧👦 WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Open to 2nd & 3rd Grade Students
Based on 2025–2026 school year placement
Must live within the region served by the Appalachian Fair

📖 HOW IT WORKS (Simple Steps)

1️⃣ Read: Read 4 grade-level appropriate books between now and 📅 July 15, 2026

2️⃣ Fill Out Form: Complete the official entry form

3️⃣ Get Verified: An adult must sign to confirm reading:

✔️ Parent
✔️ Guardian
✔️ Teacher
✔️ Library Representative

4️⃣ Submit Your Entry

📅 Deadline: July 15, 2026 (by 4:00 PM)

🎟️ PICK UP YOUR REWARD

Students may pick up their Ride Coupon Packet:

📅 July 20 – August 14, 2026
🕘 Monday–Friday: 9AM–4PM
📅 Saturday, August 15, 2026
🕙 10AM–4PM

⚠️ Important: Coupons not picked up by August 15 may NOT be available afterward.

🎢 WHAT YOU EARN

🎡 Each student receives:

✔️ (2) Drew Exposition Ride Coupons
✔️ Valid any day during the 2026 Appalachian Fair

🎟️ ADMISSION INFORMATION

👶 Ages 11 & under: FREE admission (with paying adult)
🎟️ Ages 12+: $10 admission
Available at the gate, online, or through the app

⚠️ Ride coupons do NOT include gate admission

🌧️ IMPORTANT NOTES

No rain checks will be given
Coupons valid during the 2026 fair only
