🎤 Appalachian Fair Got Talent Contest

7pm on the Museum Stage

🗓️ Entry & Fee

• Deadline: Friday, August 14

• Fee: $20 (must accompany the entry form)

• Note: Incomplete or unpaid entries will not be accepted.

👥 Who Can Enter

• Amateurs only — professionals are not eligible. 
  No age limit for participants.

 

🎭 Categories

• Vocal (solo or group)

• Instrumental

• Variety act

• Dance group

🔒 Safety & Conduct

No fire or dangerous / life-threatening acts allowed.

 

🎛️ Tech & Stage

• All contestants must use Fair-provided sound & lighting.

• A Sound Engineer is provided.

⏱️ Performance Time

• Maximum: 4 minutes per act.

• Exceeding 4 minutes = disqualification.

An official timekeeper will be present.

 

👯 Group Changes

You may drop a member after entering, but you may not add a member not listed on the original entry form.

 

💿 Music Submission

• Provide the Sound Engineer with two (2) copies of your music:

  • CD or digital drive (flash/thumb/jump drive) only

  • Clearly label with Act/Contestant Name and Song Title

❗ Important

• No phones or personal devices.

• Music must be on a new CD or a dedicated USB drive by itself.

Bringing music on a phone/personal device = DISQUALIFIED.

• 1st Place: $500

• 2nd Place: $250

• 3rd Place: $100
