💲 Entry Fee

• $50 non-refundable entry fee (cash, check, or credit card accepted).

• Faxed or emailed forms will receive an online payment invoice.

• Entry forms and fees must be received and paid before the contestant is added to the official roster.
   

👑 Awards

A Queen and four (4) Runners-Up will be crowned in each division, each receiving a beautiful trophy. All other contestants will receive a participation trophy.
 

👧 Age Divisions

 I / Wee Miss / 2–3 years

 (Wee Miss must be accompanied onstage by an adult)

 II / Tiny Miss / 4–6 years

 III / Little Miss / 7–9 years

 IV / Pre-Teen Miss / 10–12 years

 V  / Teen Miss / 13–15 years
 

💃 Competition Rules

1. Contestants must pay the non-refundable $50 entry fee with the registration form.

2. Attire: Dress of choice — no exposed midriffs, please.

3. Judging:

   • Beauty: 75%

   • Personality: 25%
     (Judges’ score sheets will not be released.)

4. The Appalachian Fair reserves the right to request proof of age.

5. All participants must abide by pageant committee guidelines.

6. First-place winners are not eligible to compete again in the same division.

7. 2026 Queens must be present to crown the 2027 winners and therefore may not compete the following year.

8. Age placement is determined by the contestant’s age on the day of the contest.

📸 Little Miss Photogenic Contest

Winners will be announced at the Little Miss Contest on Tuesday, August 25 at the Museum Stage. A Miss Photogenic Queen will be chosen in each of the five divisions.

📷 Photogenic Rules

1. Contestants must be entered in the Little Miss Contest to participate.

2. Submit a 5×7 or 8×10 photo (unframed) to the Fair Office or to a rehearsal no later than August 21.

3. The contestant’s name, age, address, and phone number must be written on the back of the photo.

4. A $10 non-refundable entry fee must accompany the Little Miss entry form.

5. Deadline: 12:00 Noon, August 21.
