PHOTOGRAPHY

*NEW RULE*
Due to the increasing number of entries we are
limiting the number of entries to a total of ten
(10) per person.
* ATTENTION *
Entries in the Photography Department must be
made on
Saturday, August 13, between 11 a.m. and
6:00 p.m. ONE DAY ONLY!
ENTRY REMOVAL - Tuesday, August 30, 3:00 -
6:00 p.m. Adhere to this time only.
ENTRY MUST BE MADE by filling out entry form (in
center of catalog) and returning to the
Appalachian Fair, P.O. Box 8218, Gray, TN 37615
by AUG 5 If possible, for 20 or more items,
entry tags can be picked up in advance for your
convenience in tagging items in upper right hand
corner before bringing to the fairgrounds on
entry day.
SPECIAL RULES:
1. Name, Address, class, and lot must be printed
on back of each entry.
2. Exhibitors are limited to amateur
photographers only. (Someone who does not earn
60% of their income from photography.)
* 3.Due to space and the increasing number of
entries we are asking that all entries be matted
on a 11”x14” WHITE MATTE ONLY, with a print size
of 8”x10”. No FRAMES or GLASS will be permitted
or JUDGED.
4. Entries must be made in person and must be
original.
5. Exhibitors may enter one (1) photograph for
each lot.
6. All premium money will be paid from the
awards as marked by the judges and not from
ribbons that may be attached to the exhibits.
Judges are instructed not to award a premium or
premiums unless article or articles are deemed
worthy of the placing awarded.
7. Premium checks will be handed out or mailed.
8. Refer to General Rules and Regulations in
this book applying to all departments.
9. Best of Show chosen from first place winners
in each lot, black and white and color.
