Total Offered $6,484.00
Cattle will be admitted after 12 Noon on
Saturday, August 20th, and must be in place by
12 Noon on Monday, August 22nd. Cattle
released Wednesday after between 9 p.m. and 12
midnight
Livestock must wash only in the designated wash
area.

1. Application for entry must be made to the
Fair Office on Regulation entry blanks furnished
by the Appalachian Fair. Application for
reservations will be accepted through August 5.
2. Fees: All entries are $7 per head. If space
is available, additional tie space can be
purchased at $7 per space. All exhibitors and
herdsmen must purchase exhibitor's tickets.
These tickets are limited to one exhibitor's
ticket per exhibitor, except exhibitor may
purchase one ticket for each three additional
head of cattle entered. These exhibitor tickets
are $8 each. If more than the allotted amount of
tickets are needed, three day season passes will
be available at a charge of $18 each. Fees may
be paid by check, cash or credit card and must
accompany entry form. Checks should be made out
to the Appalachian Fair. Only one vehicle pass
per trailer. Exhibitor must park vehicles in
designated area across from Gate 3. Fees are
non-refundable.
3. Same lot substitutions will be accepted for
an additional entry fee at time of check in.
4. Tie out time will be 9:00 p.m.
5. Animals must be recorded in the name of the
exhibitor and evidence of registration
presented.
6. Space will not be provided for nurse cows.
7. All animals must be registered in the
American Salers Association or the Salers
Association of Canada. All animals must be
properly tattooed and will be inspected at the
show. Tattoos must be legible and must match the
registration papers which will be checked at the
show. Photo copies of the original Registration
papers will be accepted.
8. All entries must be made on entry forms
obtained from the Appalachian Fair. Copies of
the form may be used.
9. Animals must be at least 75 percent Saler or
greater to show.
10. EXHIBITORS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN
BEDDING.
11. Exhibitors are subject to all rules and
health regulations of the American Salers
Association, the Tennessee Department of
Agriculture, and the Appalachian Fair as set
forth in this premium book.
12. Any livestock breed falling below 15 head
with 3 exhibitions over a three year period of
time, will be put on probation and the show
evaluated by the livestock superintendent and
fair management.

54. PREMIER EXHIBITOR AWARD BANNER
A winner will be determined by the Exhibitors
Placement in individual lots only, as follows: 3 points for each 1st; 2 points for each
2nd; and 1 point for each 3rd.
Points will be divided on multiple-owned cattle
according to the percent of
ownership, Maximum number of placements to be
used to determine the winner shall be limited to the five that total the most
number of points. In case of a tie, additional placements beyond five (5) will be
used until a winner is determined.
55. PREMIER BREEDER AWARD BANNER
A winner will be determined by the exhibitor's
