| DEPARTMENT 107 - CAREER & TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION CLASS T - CAREER & TECHNOLOGY DISPLAY
(INDIVIDUAL SCHOOLS)
We will be receiving exhibits on Friday, August 9, Saturday, August 10,and
Sunday, August 11, which is one week in advance of the fair opening. Open
competition judging will take place on Monday, August 12, and Tuesday,
August 13. (Thursday, August 15, is the day for all school instructors to
set up their individual competitive school displays.)
PURPOSE: The
display will allow individual schools to show the public, in a well
displayed booth, the courses being taught and the items being produced in
the various vocational trade areas.
Lot 001 - Individual School
Displays
1st - $125.00; 2nd - $75.00; 3rd - $50.00
$35.00 will be awarded each additional school having a display.
RULES: 1. A limited amount of display space is available, please make
reservations now. Contact Hal Range at 753-8736 Or
Cell - 418-4651 2. Available space will be 8 feet (deep) by 20 feet
(wide). 3. Displays must be set up Thursday, August 16th.
DISPLAYS WILL BE JUDGED ON THE FOLLOWING: a. Educational
information value 20% b. Layout and design 20%
c. Utilization of 2013 Fair Theme 20% d. Creativity and
originality 20% e. Workmanship 20%
CLASS U -
QUALITY POINTS Special Prizes are offered each chapter to encourage
the entry of quality exhibits. Prizes will be offered according to quality
points. The chapter winning the most quality points will take first prize.
(A quality point shall be equal to one dollar of prize money.) First
$100.00, Second $50.00, Third $25.00
