There are a limited number of boards available, please mail entry forms early. Appalachian Fair has the right to reject applications after all available space has been reserved.

RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING BOOTHS

CLASS A - Lot 1 Open to Eastern Region 4-H members (4th through 7th grades as of January of the current year)

CLASS B - Lot 1 Open to Eastern Region Counties 4-H members (8th through 12th grades as of January of the current year) enrolled in selected projects.

1. Each exhibit will be allotted a space of 8' wide by 4’ high. Be sure to utilize the 22” shelf on the front.
2. Each exhibit will be project oriented.  Exhibit must have 4-H or 4-H Emblem displayed as part of the board.
3. Exhibits must be completed on the following days: Sunday, August 11, between 2:00 & 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 12, between 2:00 & 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and Wednesday, August 14, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Removal will be Tuesday, August 27, between 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The Fair will not be responsible for items used in the exhibit.
4. All materials and tools (i.e. staple gun, staples, scissors, hammer, etc.) must be furnished by the exhibitor. The board must be completed by the exhibitor.
5. Any item or portion of an exhibit previously entered at the Appalachian Fair is not eligible for competition.
6. General rules and regulations in the front of the catalog apply.

Premium Class A: 1st - $50 2nd - $40 3rd - $30 4th - $20
Premium Class B: 1st - $50 2nd - $40 3rd - $30 4th - $20

AFTER THE FIRST THREE PLACINGS THE REMAINDER OF CREDITABLE BOOTHS WILL BE AWARDED A PARTICIPATION RIBBON AND $10.
